Astero 11NXT vs 13NXT vs 33NXT — full comparison
Short answer: The only real difference is the phase of the pumps. 11NXT — both pumps single phase (₹9,450). 13NXT — raw water single, HP pump three phase (₹10,500). 33NXT — both three phase (₹12,600).
Look at the nameplate on your pumps: it states both phase and HP. The model then follows automatically.

How to work out which you need
- Read both pump nameplates — they state "1 Phase / 230V" or "3 Phase / 415V", along with the HP
- Note the phase of each
- Look the model up in the table below
| RWP phase | HPP phase | Model |
|---|---|---|
| 1 phase | 1 phase | 11NXT |
| 1 phase | 3 phase | 13NXT |
| 3 phase | 3 phase | 33NXT |
| 3 phase | 1 phase | Unusual — please ask us |
The 33NXT HP variants
The 33NXT comes in three HP capacities, depending on the size of the HP pump:
| Model | HP pump up to | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 33NXT | 5 HP | ₹12,600 |
| 33NXT 7.5HP | 7.5 HP | ₹13,650 |
| 33NXT 10HP | 10 HP | ₹14,700 |
| 33NXT Star Delta | 15 HP (star delta) | ₹33,600 |
The RM versions — with remote monitoring
Each model also has an RM version, which puts plant data on a mobile or computer:
| Standard | RM version | Difference |
|---|---|---|
| 11NXT ₹9,450 | 11NXT RM ₹20,475 | ₹11,025 |
| 13NXT ₹10,500 | 13NXT RM ₹22,575 | ₹12,075 |
| 33NXT ₹12,600 | 33NXT RM ₹24,150 | ₹11,550 |
Whether it is worth the money is covered in our RM panel guide.
What BWS means
BWS stands for Backwash. This version also sequences the backwash of a filter or softener, so the pre-treatment is automated along with the RO:
- 33NXT BWS — ₹24,675
- 33NXT 7.5HP BWS — ₹28,350
- 33NXT 10HP BWS — ₹31,500
Note that the BWS cut-out size is larger (305Hx225V), so allow space in the board.
333NXT — for three pumps
If the RO plant also has a transfer or circulation pump, a three-pump panel is required:
- 333NXT — ₹18,375
- 333NXT 7.5HP — ₹19,950
- 333NXT 10HP — ₹23,625
The decision in 30 seconds
- Both pumps single phase → 11NXT
- RWP single, HPP three phase → 13NXT
- Both three phase, HPP up to 5HP → 33NXT
- HPP 7.5 or 10HP → 33NXT 7.5HP / 10HP
- HPP 15HP → star delta version
- A third pump as well → 333NXT
- Backwash to be automated too → BWS version
- Data needed on mobile → RM version

What is the difference between 11NXT, 13NXT and 33NXT?
Only the phase of the pumps. On the 11NXT both pumps are single phase, on the 13NXT the raw water pump is single and the high pressure pump three phase, and on the 33NXT both are three phase. The remaining features are broadly the same.
How do I know which model I need?
Read the nameplate on both pumps, which states the phase and HP. Note the phase of the raw water pump and the high pressure pump, and the model follows directly from that.
What is the difference between the 5HP, 7.5HP and 10HP versions of the 33NXT?
They indicate the maximum capacity of the high pressure pump. The price difference between them is small, so if there is any chance of upsizing the pump later, taking the larger version is sensible.
What is the BWS version for?
BWS stands for backwash. This version also sequences the backwash of a filter or softener automatically, so a separate panel for pre-treatment is not needed. Its cut-out size is larger than the standard version.
When is the 333NXT needed?
When the RO plant has three pumps rather than two, such as a raw water pump, a high pressure pump and a transfer or circulation pump. This model is designed to run all three from one panel.
