Pressure gauges are the cheapest diagnostic tool on a water treatment plant. A plant with gauges at the right points tells you what is wrong before anything fails; a plant without them leaves you guessing. We supply pressure gauges, glycerine-filled gauges, gauge isolators, and the full range of RO plant accessories.

Where to fit gauges on an RO plant

At minimum: before and after the cartridge filter (the difference tells you when to change it), at the high-pressure pump discharge (tells you the operating pressure), and on the membrane vessel outlet (a rising pressure drop across the vessel indicates fouling). Three gauges turn an unexplained "output has dropped" complaint into a five-second diagnosis.

Why glycerine-filled?

Pumps create vibration and pressure pulsation, which makes a dry gauge needle flutter and wear out quickly. A glycerine-filled gauge damps that movement, so the reading is steady and the gauge lasts far longer. On any pump discharge line, glycerine-filled is worth the small extra cost.

Choosing the range and connection

Select a gauge where normal working pressure sits around the middle of the scale — a gauge reading near the top of its range wears fast and reads inaccurately. Common sizes are 63mm and 100mm dial with bottom or back entry, and 1/4" or 1/2" BSP connection. Confirm the entry direction before ordering, since a bottom-entry gauge cannot be panel mounted.
