A Water ATM lets people take purified water in their own container and pay per litre — by coin, card, RFID or QR. They are used by housing societies, panchayats, industrial areas, schools, railway stations, temples and entrepreneurs running community water businesses. We supply complete dispensing units and accessories.
Purified water from your RO plant is stored in a tank and connected to the dispensing unit. The user selects a quantity and pays; the controller opens a solenoid valve and a flow sensor measures exactly how much water has been delivered, closing the valve at the set volume. Payment can be coin, prepaid RFID card, or QR/UPI depending on the model.
Confirm the payment mode your users will actually use — an RFID card system works well in a closed society but not for walk-in public. Check the flow sensor accuracy, since disputes about quantity are the fastest way to lose customer trust. Look for an enclosure suited to outdoor use if the unit sits in the open, and confirm what happens on power failure.
The economics depend on three things: water cost per litre (mainly RO running cost and electricity), footfall, and maintenance discipline. Keep the dispensing nozzle clean, service the RO plant on schedule, and check the delivered quantity periodically against a measured jug. A unit that gives short measure or dirty water empties out its customer base very quickly.
